day after day

It's 12:46am on my 20th birthday. This morning, as I was preparing for bed, my father gave me my first birthday present. He reminded me once again of his sweet, sweet grace.

"Day after day,
you never change.
You power to save,
strength to sustain,
and we praise, we praise your name."

This has been the anthem of the first two decades of my life. Never in twenty years have you forsaken me, and never in eternity to come will your faithfulness end.

Thanks for the gift pops, I'll see you in the morning.

Today we celebrates God's wonderful creation of David:) It's hard to believer he's 20! From the beginning Davids face and eyes sparkled with mischief. He was always pretending and drawing others into his world of make believe. His Dad used to say that his mind was his favorite playground. We have watched David grow in maturity and godliness. He genuinly loves our Savior and Gods people with such affection and zeal. He is seriouse about sanctification and mortifying his flesh, and yet, he is so full of joy and laughter that you can't help but want to be around him. David...happy birthday sweetheart. We are so very very thankful Jesus created you, and allowed us to be your parents. You are a crown on our heads. Much love,
Mom and Dad

PS We've heard rumors that the Miami church "honors" people turning 20. Looking forward to hearing what ya'll do to (whoops, I mean for) David.
